Today it was 65º ( ) so I decide to do some work in the garage. Since my Spyder is still at the shop I decided today would be a good day to make a slight improvement to my Handy B.O.B. Spyder lift.
The Spyder normally is backed onto the lift and I learned in January during the Laser Alignment party at my place that when the rear tire is wet, there is no backing up the ramp. Just not going to happen. :gaah:
Well today I fixed that problem. I put non-skid on the center ramp and down the middle of the platform. This was my first venture into doing anything with non-skid since I left my last ship in the Navy in 1978. I bought the mix-it-yourself stuff at Lowes. A quart of gloss black enamel and a package of non-skid grit. The package said to use one whole bag per gallon of paint. Well, I used one whole bag to 1/2 quart of paint.
hyea: It looks real good. I'll get to try it out next weekend when I get the Spyder back.
