• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

makes you wonder whay cops get a bad rap

She certainly didn't want to co-operate... :gaah:
There's a lot more going on in that van, than she wanted anybody to find out about... :banghead:

Talk about an adrenaline rush. The police sure had their work cut out here. It would be interesting to know the follow up. From the looks of things, I think the people in the van were very familiar with police procedures. :yikes::yikes:

"Drug paraphernalia"
The officer was trying to take out the tires... Admittedly not the wisest thing to do.
:lecturef_smilie: This is what happens when you don't obey the law. :banghead:

I'd like to hear about what else they found in the van, if anything. On the interstate here you often see a van full of stuff, adult driving, all other seats occupied by kids, speeding about 90-95 mph and followed by another car. I've heard they are drug traffickers using addicts and their kids to move the merchandise across country. The follow-car is to make sure the van doesn't abscond with the goods.

With three cars there, why not block her in. If a woman is willing to put her kids through that, she does not fear for their safety. She is only thinking of herself. Shooting at the car???!!!!!! Dumb move on the cop's part, to eager to shoot. The only one acting with any sense was the first officer on scene, and back up only made the situation worse. What a mess.

Just sayin'............

Interesting to see the news takes on what happened. Bad, bad, police seems to be the gist of it.

The whole 18 minutes of the tape indicates otherwise to me. The lady and the 14 year old were way out of line.

They Fired The Officer Who Shot at the car.

Talk about an adrenaline rush. The police sure had their work cut out here. It would be interesting to know the follow up. From the looks of things, I think the people in the van were very familiar with police procedures. :yikes::yikes:

All she got was a slap on the hand. Last we heard was he was trying to appeal his firing but it was denied.

Not saying that

So, you're saying the Taos news link (of today) that I provided reported incorrectly?

Thats what I call a slap on the hand. The district attorney can still reconvene a grand jury if he chooses to do so according to the local news. But I doubt this will go any further.
