There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I was thinking the same thing. You could detail your Spyder, bike, car or truck and never have to wash it again. I don't know how real this stuff is or what the downside is but if it works like it shows here I would put it on everything I own. nojoke

Very interesting stuff, and worth investigating, but leaking raingear is more often about fit and adjustment than leaking material, and nothing but seam sealer or taping can close the stitching penetrations. I remain skeptical. On the other hand, you could probably get some SpyderLovers money for charity by letting the gang hose you down at the next BBQ.
Seriously, I look forward to this actually reaching the market, and being tried and tested. I have a few applications myself. Renewing motorcycle covers is one thing that comes to mind. Nice find! :thumbup:

No question.........a great product! I'd cover the outside of my house in it, even the roof! Perfect for the canopy on a canvas gazebo, Outdoor table umbrellas, charcoal and gas grill covers. The applications seem almost endless. :clap:

I'm sure we could come up with dozens of practical uses for a perpetual motion machine, too. The proof will come when and if this promising product ever reaches market. There would be a lot of testing to do, like finding what materials are compatible in the long term. If products like Rain-X and Loctite can damage windshields in time, who knows what this stuff might do. When something astounding is advertised, I choose to remain skeptical until I see it in action.
