• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Well, I just returned from my first ride on the street! IT WAS AN AMAZING RIDE!!

When I went to the demo event, I only had a permit so I had to stay on the lot. I have the 2013 RTS SE5 that was delayed at the factory while they figured out the handling/ball joint problem. Well, BRP did a great job and she handles well! I couldn't wait for warm weather so since the sun came out, I dressed warm and enjoyed the heated grips and the windshield prevented any cold air from hitting me in the face. I was quite comfortable in 36 degree weather and a wind of 15 mph.

Way to go, I'am sure your going to enjoy it every time you ride, it's addictive. Wait till you attend a Spyder rally or any other event the people are the greatest. :gaah:PIC-0537.jpg

Thanks

Glad that you are enjoying your new :spyder2:. :welcome: and :congrats: on that new ryde.

Thanks!
I even let the hubbie ryde on the first day with me on the back-of course! He has a 2012 HD Street Glide. He loved the :spyder2: ryde! Then I returned him home so I could really get in some time. I see why people rack up the myles! You practically have to pry our fingers off the grips so we will stop and go home. :D

:congrats:on your new RTS. The blue looks great. When I bought mine they didn't have any blue Spyders on the show room floor. They had to bring two of them from WV because they had another customer that wanted one also. He didn't want the colours that they had on the showroom floor either! It is real easy to put miles on the Spyder. You will find yourself going to places that you only dreamed about. Have a great one! Ride Safe & Long!

A great way to rack up some myles is to ryde it to Spyderfest next month! Your hubbie and his Harly would even be welcome.

Anyway, :congrats: on your new machine. I'm sure you'll have a ball.

Grinning indeed...

Does your face hurt from all of the grinning yet? :D :congrats:

Had a mom and two little girls walk back out of the store so they could see who was riding the cool bike they had seen in the lot. They wanted to watch as it rode away. Of course, I gave it my best parade wave!:dg2:(1 hand of course) One definitely needs to build extra time in the day to explain to everyone what the :spyder2:is and to give a quick wave to little kids who think you are a superhero!:D
