• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Magnetic Tank Bags ??

Will a magnetic tank bag stick well enough to stay on the newer Spyders that have the plastic covers over the fuel tank?

Appreciate some guidance from anybody that has tried one.

There must be metal under the plastic. Didn't much think the tank bags would stick. I tried some magnets on it and they would not even try to hold, but didn't know if they was as strong as the tank bags.

I will just get the ones with the straps. No Problem.

Appreciate the information and thanks!

Actually IMHO the MAGNET idea can work ......you would have to attach a metal plate to the underside of the LID ( the thicker the better the magnets will perform ) .... There are some N-50 ( neobendium ) that are small but very strong...... Mike

No need, it is on there now. The straps are really more secure than just the magnetic mounts. Somebody really wants to take something, you can't stop them, but you can make it hard enough it probably wouldn't be worth doing.
