Magic or anyone-taillight/brake light question

I have the homerun package. When you hit the brakes the taillight blinked 3 times or I thought they did. I just installed the NMN led taillights/brake lights and they don't blink 3 times. Are they supposed to? Before I button everything back up, I want to make sure there isn't something wrong.

theres a small switch on the unit :gaah:

It's the rear signal lights that blink. It works.
