• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Definitely LaMonsters version. The Slingmods version has larger magnets meaning you have to eliminate one of the body bolts. Not a big fan of that. LaMonsters version keeps all OE body bolts. I have LaMonsters version and ride on some fairly rough roads from time to time. My mirrors haven't moved in 6 months.

Definitely LaMonster's. I recommend going with the "two per side" so you KNOW the mirror is secure on one factory post. They work great.

I have the 3 magnet per side setup and didn't have to remove any OEM attachment screws. The MM's work GREAT.

I think Lamont only sells the (3) per side version these days. They won't come loose. No need for the (2) magnet version, even if you can find them.

Monk, you are correct, they only sell the three per side. For added safety add a zip tie thru the wires on your turn signal wire harness coming out of the mirror at the connector that slides inside the panel and you will be a happy camper. My wife just went on a two thousand mile trip just after I put hers on and she was very pleased.

I put these small convex mirrors on my bikes and the Spyder. Properly adjusted, the combination of the main mirror, the convex, & your peripheral vision gives you 360° of vision without even turning your head. They only cover a portion of your main mirror where you typically see the sides of your body anyway. They cost about $6/pair most places.

Just received an email from Lamonster stating he is working on a Magic Mirror fix for the 2020 Spyder and should be ready in a couple of weeks. Since the mirrors need to be removed often if you do your own work, I would prefer the magnetic fix over BRP's screw fix. Stay tuned!

Hi KVRB, advanced apology for my novice question... I was to understand that the 2020 mirrors don't need to be often removed, like with prior year models...?
I ask because I just had the dealer order the BRP bolt-on fix. Should I ditch BRP's solution and go with Lamont's?
Thanks in advance,
Truck

The mirrors do not need to be removed for routine maintenance, on the 2020. I like Lamont’s magic mirrors for the 2019 And older better than the rest. I have installed quite a few sets.
We have a fix for the 2020 RT. Works great, much less expensive than BRP.

Thank ya Sir.
I saw your post in another thread. Actually, I referenced you when talking with the dealer. I 'think' BRP is going to provide the fix for free. There was a BRP TB on the shaky mirrors. Seems it's prn... if one complains, BRP sends the fix.

We shall see. If the dealer tries to invoice for the fix, I'll be a customer of yours instead.
