• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What was the name of the vendor that had all the seats, and does anyone know if he’ll be there this year ? Thanks

They got a show room at Destination Daytona. The got a website with the events schedule on it too. They also have mail order business. They have seats for all different brands of bikes as well as for the Spyder. Destination Daytona has a lot of different after market stores and show rooms in the large lot lot there. Plenty of eating places too.

Are their going to be vendors at the Maggie Valley 2019 Rally? I am planning on coming to the rally, and would like to add on a few things to my 2018 F3 Limited Spyder! Mainly would like to get a new rear tire put on it! The last rally, their was a vendor putting new tires on Spyders! I have called Regina several times, getting no answer and have left my voice mail and have never received a call back from her!!

the old sponsor of this rally, Matthew Fun Machines in Charlotte, NC was sold. I guess somebody else is coordinating this now. So Regina contact info is no longer valid

also its not at the old site now(fairgrounds), different site on same rd

If you are a vendor it says to contact Leah @ MFM

It still should be a nice time. Temps have been warm, and kinda dry. Supposed to cool off starting this weekend, but it might be a little early to see much of a color change in the leaves, except for at the highest elevations. We will be arriving on 10/9 and leaving on 10/13. This year we decided to stay at a cabin in the Boone area, since we ride the Maggie Valley area 3 or more times a year. We will be riding down to Maggie Valley on either Thursday or Friday to check out the vendors and such, but really going to explore more roads north of Mt. Mitchell this time. Hope to see some of you guys.

Looking forward to seeing everyone again.
We will be hosting a dinner ride at 5:45 Thursday to Grannies in Cherokee (leaving from the distillery), Call us to reserve your spot. 440-259-4793.
We also will be giving away door prizes at our trailer on Friday night at 5:30 PM.

They are putting on escorted rides every day starting at the distillery.

Should be a great time as always.

The one can't miss ride would be to do the Cherohola Skyway. I am saying that, instead of the Dragon due to the Dragon being too full on the weekends. There are loads of roads to ride in the area, and you can choose any direction and get great views. Good luck.

Spyder Adventures Maggie Valley

As a fellow GA rider I use this rally to have mods installed.
Don't get me wrong the riding is beautiful in the area and I can go back most any weekend I plan. But having access to vendors who will install mods is not something riders outside Missouri see very often.
At past rallies: Netzley did my Kumho rear tire on site, TricLEd installed my fender lights, and the next year did my headlights onsite, SpyderPops did my bumpskid, you see where I'm going.
And Wheels through Time museum in Maggie Valley is a great place to spend a couple hours as well. See you at the rally.

Great I was hoping to get some stuff installed on site (fog lights, LED headlights, & maybe others).

Is the rally in Maggie Valley still going to take place this week? I have called several phone numbers and cannot get an answer! Very little being said about it even on SpyderLover's! It is the only rally close to South Georgia and we attended 2 of the last 3 years!
We even called the Chamber of Commerce in Maggie Valley and they know nothing about it! The Fairgrounds where it has normally been has been cancelled this year and it is suppose to be in a restaurant parking lot! I have called Regina Howell 3 or 4 times and leave my number, and she has not called me back! Called one of the vendor that is showing on the Rally website, and got a small amount of information! We don't want to ride 450 miles to find nothing is going on, we are too old for that!
Thanks

Read above and find more information. There will be some vendors there and the meeting site has changed to the parking lot of the Elevated Distillery a little further down the road from the fairgrounds. I will be there along with others that I have seen. I have no idea of how many but I am personally thinking of a lot but not sure.We leave wednesday after work and will be there thursday late afternoon.
