• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Maggie Valley - Spyder Adventures

This past Wednesday we did 383 miles, Thursday we did 251 miles, and today I did 308 today.
After this experience, we will not be doing that many miles each day next week. I plan on doing the same destinations, but breaking it down to around 200 miles or less each day. Got to keep it down since the wife will be with me next week.

We will be at the Microtel on Soco rd. Probably be leaving the hotel around 8-8:30 each day. Either send me a pm for a phone number, or just swing by the hotel. There will be 2 White RT's, a black RT, and a congac RT. Maybe 2-3 others joining us that are staying in other locations.

Jackie and I are staying at the Castlewood Inn, too. We're heading out Wednesday afternoon about 3p and riding till we get tired. Finishing in the a.m.

My wife and I will be staying at the Microtel , Maybe some slowpokes like me would like to take
a leisurely trip one day to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge about a 120 mile round trip and a beautiful
trip with a lot of pull offs for pictures.
We have a 2013 Pearl white RT with a Eagle on the frunk. Ken and & Nancy Nix

Thanks, we are staying at Castlewood. We won't get there until probably a little before noon Thurs. We will be leaving Maryville probably about 830 ish...so we will miss you thurs, but we are on for Friday !

Ok, I may have added a couple twice or something like that, but by my count, just what is posted here on this site, there are 113 Spyders on the way to Maggie Valley - GA FL TX OH VA PA NC IL KY IN MO TN NY MI AL SC MD NJ and 2 from NOWHERE.....

Please everyone be careful heading that way, this will be our first rally/event.....we are really excited, see you guys (and gals ) there !!!!

Does anyone happen to know the vendor's schedule? It may be Saturday morning until I can get there. Wanted to try to see a few of them.

Can't tell from the website schedule of events page.
 
For those of you who might be traveling 411/441/Chapman Hwy between Seymour and Sevierville be aware that they have started construction on a 10 mile stretch. There is gravel and sand in both North and South bound lanes. Most will be traveling I-40, but locals may not. Ride safe.
 
The wife and I arrived today we are staying in Robbinsville NC, close to the Dragon. We pass a gentleman coming down from Indy, he was pulling a trailer with two spiders on it, I ask him if he as headed to Maggie Vally and he nodded yes.

Just pulled in to Maggie Valley Inn Conference Center left on Monday each day was over 500 miles days total miles 1300 ready to do some more riding

Ultimate Seats

I had an appointment with Ultimate on Friday to install a seat I already paid for but.....I got a call on the way down today to let me know that they won't be able to make it. They were on their way up, got to South Carolina and had to go back to FL. Their home base is in Daytona and since they are a family run business they had to go back to prepare for Hurricane Matthew. The storm shifted and they are right in the path. Please keep them, and everyone in the path, in your thoughts and prayers. :pray:nojoke
