Sounds a really neat trip Chris. The BRP is a great road to ride.A couple of us after the BBQ and cjacks ride on the snake and Rhododendrum festival are heading North on the parkway to Roanoke,VA then East to Williamsburg,South through the Outerbanks of NC then Rt17 to Charleston,Savannah through Amelia Island, across the river into Florida and A1A all the way home. Will take 5 days on this trip.

Roanoke is a good place to start from.North of Roanoke it is only a couple of hours riding to the end of The BRP and where Shenandoah starts.Ivor, that sounds like a fun time. Perhaps I should get on the BRP at Roanoke when coming to Maggie Valley, or can I go further North and get on?
