• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Maggie Valley Owner Event Survey

I completed the survey and suggested the even be held in Hawaii in February (it's cold here in MI). I'm working on securing a private cruise ship that will leave from Missouri since it's a good central place for us SpyderLovers. I figure we can take the ship, with our Spyders in the storage hold, to the gulf, sail down to the Panama Canal, sail up to CA to pick up the West Coast folks and then sail the rest of the way to Hawaii. With a large group of us, I figure it should only cost a couple hundred bucks each and only take a week to get there!!! ;)

Once we're there, we can ride around in circles the whole time! :roflblack:

OK...if you haven't realized that I'm totally full of doo-doo (which is what most people think!), I'm also really fond of the Smoky Mountain area. It has great riding, but...more importantly...it's close to my favorite barbecue location...Lamont's!!! Plus I really want to see how the cave-vultures are doing. I will definitely remember my nose plugs next time! :sour:

I agree with Lamont on location. No cities. I suggested Colorado; but anywhere in the mountain states would be fine.
My complaint was in the service area. If you are going to offer tech service, then have the staff to support it. MV was joke. I also suggested a little cheaper hotels but that may be reach. I could care less about being able to purchase accessories or gear at these. Personally I go for the comradeship. It's nice to see old friends. To me it's about the people and the riding.
By and large, I thought BRP did a great job and I will attend again if it's within a reasonable distance and in a reasonable location.

I attended a GWRRA event at MV and they had outside vendors. I talked to a local Council ? member and there seems to be lots of confusion as on the opening day. One city Official said, this is great, then another said, no way. I expressed my opinion that "outside vendors" should not be able to compete with for the same mechandise ( Although I loved the ice cream at the GW Rally. It was far better the local ice cream). However, as someone said, I did not see any local Spyder dealers, or Spyder Pops. Magie Valley tee shirt on the local, but no Spyder shirts on local.
If wheels Through time does actually move. I would have to think twice to go to another "Vendor Free" event in Maggie Valley
