• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

We are going to attend the June 17-19 fest in Maggie Valley this year, and were wondering if anyone has an idea of good and bad accomodations to stay at, or avoid. I know that some places love bikers... and some places can't stand having us around.

Microtel in Cherokee loves bikers. - good rates, and bike parking in front of the lobby. Cleaning rags supplied in lobby Atrium.

The Microtel in RobinsonVille provides a bucket and hose. That one might be a bit out of the way.

Yeah we will be going

2faston3 and Freeon3 will be there! Looking forward to Lamont's BBQ. And hanging, ryding and chatting with all of you!

Most of the lodging in the area are "biker friendly". The mountains and BRP (Blue Ridge Parkway) bring in motorcycle riders from all over. Take your pick of Hotels or Campgrounds within a 50 mile radius.

I'm staying at the Best Western - Waynesville, NC (6 miles from Maggie)

Hopefully Lamont will be gracious enough AGAIN to open up his heart and home to host a BBQ. He has busted his posterior in the past to put on such a great event. I will also add that if there are any costs associated with this fun time, that a "pot" (no I ain't referring to that) be established to contribute.

Anyone have any info on a good RV Resort in Maggie Valley? Need something with big rig access and preferably a pull through site that will accommodate at least 57 ft (coach and enclosed trailer).
