• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Madstad Winshield Robobracket Adjustment

I have no complaints about the concept, or the function of the Madstad Engineering Robobrackets (MER).

The issue arises when you tweak the brackets to fit the winshield you are using. I use the large F1 in the Winter, and the shorty in Summertime. Has anyone discovered the perfect tool(s) to quickly adjust the MER's? It gets painful sometimes (and time consuming).

I'd love to read about your ideas.

I can't recommend a good, easy way to adjust them, but I do reccomend that when you get them where you want them with each windshield, you take good pictures for reference, and carefully mark the brackets so you can put them back to the marks the next time.

Not a MadStad owner, maybe in the future:D, so I have no experience on how they function so......

$ aside, maybe getting another MadStad bracket? Would it be easier to remove the whole bracket keeping the windshield attached? That way you could keep the windshields at the proper adjustments. Then just swap them out as a whole unit. :dontknow:

Again, no experience, just a thought:dontknow:
