• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Suzanne and I made it to Nova Scotia today. Left home at 08:00 est and took a short cut to Nova Scotia. We took a ferry from St. John New Brunswick to Digby. Made it in 6.5 hours. 200 miles through rainy weather. Plan on riding the South eastern shore on up to Cape Breton. Keep you posted. Bruce

7:00 Atlantic time, very foggy this morning. Fog is suppose to burn off in another hour or so. Should be sunny and Humid the rest of the day. Bruce

Enjoy. Nova Scotia is a very interesting place. We spent a week there in October of 1997. Did not make it to Cape Breton, said to be the most beautiful place in the country. Enjoy.

Left Digby this morning for Yarmouth NS. Took our time exploring the coast. Had a great day. We lucked out and have a room overlooking the CAT Ferry terminal. Price of fuel is expensive, like California prices. $2.47 a litre for 91 or $1.75 a litre for 87. So it takes roughly 3.8 litres to a gallon. Any way we are having a great time. Bruce

EXPENSIVE!! That's bloody CHEAP! :cus:

Here in South Oz, right now our 91 RON, which is pretty much equivalent to your 87 stuff, runs to $2.20 a litre!! :yikes:

And I'm too shocked to even mention what our 95 or 98 (your 91 & 95 or whatever) runs to!! :gaah:

I had to jump through a couple of calculator hoops, but I think your fuel cost is about 1/3 more than what I've been paying.

Premium fuel (R+M/2 of 93) at the local station is US $3.63 per gallon.

There are about 3.8 litres in a gallon, so about US $1 per litre.

Looks like the current conversion rate is US $1 = Aus $1.48

On the fuel price, you forgot the exchange rate.
US dollar is about $1.30 to $1.35 Canadian or a CDN dollar is worth about .65 to .70 cents US
