I am looking for a luggage rack for my 2013 RTL. I have installed the custom dynamics third brake light which I think may cause a problem with some models. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. :clap:

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Diamond R...great rack

If you get the diamond R rack get the chrome one. It reflects the 3rd brake lite for better visibility at nite. I believe the rack from big 5 is the one that if you put luggage on it will block the 3rd brake lite.

Talked with a dealer who strongly discouraged screwing anything into the rear trunk cover. If it is torqued too tightly OR too much weight is placed, there is trouble with spider-web cracks from the screw hole and, of course, Can Am will not cover that damage since it is not their product!
Wondering if anyone has "Mickey-Moused" a rack held on with straps around the cover? Thinking about using the ventilated shelving. Could be removed when not needed. Ideas???

Either the Diamond R one, or the Value Accessories one, would solve the problem, and I would agree with johnnyrocket that the chrome one would make the high brake light more visible at night. I have the Custom Dynamics high brake light too, and my problem is that I just don't care for the looks of the racks that stick straight out from the top of the trunk. So what I do when I need to carry something on the back is to leave the passenger at home and simply use the rear seat.

This is what I have. It is really perfect.
Mine is same lots of good comments from others and it works well for my needs.

There's a set of nice chrome washers for the luggage racks available - metal ones on top, and plastic ones for the inside. I used them on my 2010, and never had a crack or problem. Opted NOT to put a rack on my 2014 tho...
