Luggage rack

Has anyone installed the luggage rack on the topcase for the 2020 RT or the F3? If so, can you explain how a bag is attached or tied down to it? Please provide pictures if you can. Thanks.

It depends on the attaching features of the bag. If it has none, ROK Straps are great, or there's myriad of straps out there. If nothing else, a cargo net will work.
I have a bag the has an adjustable click lock at each corner. It's like it was made for my Show Chrome rack.

The rack sits a good 1/2" above the trunk and has numerous holes where a luggage strap will fit. One reason I bought was just to protect all the shiny/ black plastic on the trunk and to give me a place to set my helmet down.

The bag on the rack is an ancient leather trunk, and I use bungees with boat-style hooks to hold it in place.

It’s the factory rack, and I found it on Amazon. Installation was easy (just 4 screws), but measure, measure, measure to ensure that you get it on straight. All the surfaces and edges are curved which makes measuring less than straightforward. Also, cover the top with masking tape to avoid scratches.

I use bungee cords and/or straps that hook to the rack. Used on many long trips, works great !

Just remember that the rack has a weight limit and it isn’t much! Don’t strap down a loaded suitcase to it.
