• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Review: Luggage for the F3L

ARtraveler

R.I.P. Dwayne
I just purchased a set of luggage for my new F3L. Lamonster Garage (a sponsor), has a nice set of Hopnel soft bags. I bought a set of four.
One each for frunk, and trunk, and a pair of saddlebag liners.

They are currently on sale. $100 or so will buy the set. That sure beats the $1000 I paid for the BRP luggage for the 2010 RT when it came out. I still have that set and it fits the 2014 RT, so we are good there.

The Hopnels are well made, have good zippers, and nice carrying straps. At $25 or so apiece...a steal, IMO.

They are not a "perfect" fit, but since they are soft, you will be able to stuff at will, and then stuff in the various compartments.

I am looking forward to using these on the trips we are planning for this years rides.

We are ready to travel. :spyder2: :f_spider:

Dewane,
Sounds like you are set to travel. Are you two considering the Red Rock ride in?
Last year there was Joe and Ann, Carol, Robin and Tom, Fred, as well as Kathy and I. It would be nice to get more of the NTA group together!

Yes, it is under consideration. Linda's daughter and spouse just bought a home in St. George. They are moving from AK to UT right around September. It is looking like the stars are in alignment. Linda would also like to meet up with the NTA group as well as more, new to us, Spyderlovers. I want to see how us "old" people travel miles and miles on the Spyders. We are using Deadwood Three Wheeler rally as our first "long distance" ride for the big test.
