There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Lower cable from helmet headset to Spyder

I am looking for the short lower right angle cable extension from Spyder to helmet headset in the attached picture. If anyone knows where to find one or just what the part number is would be great information.

I have been able to find it as a component to an entire helmet headset but not as a separate part

Is this a Can Am headset? Did you buy it new or did it come with a used Spyder? Depending on old the headset is it might be time to buy a new set. J & M has a good one.

Show us a pic of the end of the cable so we can maybe identify it from the pin configuration.

I just did some more looking. It's a BRP headset - https://can-am.brp.com/on-road/us/e...tion-systems/communication-headset-wired.html. The instructions for its use will have the part number for the separate pieces, if they can be purchased separately. The BRP instruction web site does not have the instructions available so your best bet is to go see the parts guy at your dealership. If the instructions are available he should be able to find them and then order the lower cord for you. If that route dead ends then you'll need to replace the entire headset.

It is a 2015 RTS. The short 7-pincable is that old. The J&M headsets that plug into are less than a year old.

So your headset is a J & M headset, right? Then you should be able to get the lower cord from them. If they don't sell it separately then you can buy both the upper and lower cord to plug into the block on your helmet. The downside may be that the straight connector they offer may run into interference with the handle bar. If that is the case, and you're handy, relocate the DIN connector toward the side of the bike somewhere. That will have the added benefit of getting the cord away from the glove box lid.

OK, after looking around some more and thinking about it what you have is a J & M headset with a straight DIN connector that you plug into the short lower cord. The short lower cord is essentially just an adapter so you don't have to plug the straight connector into the bike headset connector, right? So in that case your J & M cord will plug into the bike connector but interferes with the handlebar. Do I have it figured out correctly? If that is the case I suggest you relocate the connector on the bike from the switch cluster to the left side tupperware, something like what I have done.
