• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Low mileage question

I am looking at 2 Spyders for sale. One has 62 miles and the other has 200. Both are 2008 SM models. If the original fluids are still in them, would this cause any problems? Thanks jf

I'm sure Nancy'sToy (aka Scotty) would have been all over this. Unfortunately, he has been waylaid by a health issue. He said it wasn't a huge deal and didn't want anyone fussing over him but also said he might not be able to log onto SpyderLovers for a while.

My thoughts on this are that it could be a concern or it could be fine. I think it depends on how they ran the machine in that time with those fluids in it. :dontknow: No matter what, if I got one of them, an oil change would be first thing on my list. Someone with more "mechanic" knowledge can straighten us both out on what best thing is in this instance.

check that all updates are done, if there are any and then add super unleaded to the remaining fuel to balance out the octane and the other fluids aren't 2 yrs old yet so they should be fine other than the engine oil which I would replace right away.
