I just bought a 1012 rt limited. I'm loving it except I'm in the break in period and shifting at 3500 rpm. It seems to need more power in lower gears. Any suggestions on what to do after the break in period is up to get more out of 1st. thru 3rd gear I want more low end but dont want to give up dependability. Also, any suggestions on highway pegs. I'm 6 ft and really need to strech out

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I wouldn't be too concerned about shifting at 3500 rpm, take her up to 5K or better and that's where she likes to run. :doorag:

It seems Lamont is too modest to toot his own horn, but he has designed/sells some great highway pegs from what I've gathered & seen from other Spyder Ryders, so here's the link for his thread for the NBV (No Bad Vibrations) pegs. Bring the RPM's up a little, 4500 TO 5500 And you'll see your low end lack of power go away.:thumbup:

The rev limiter will kick in at 9250 so you won't damage the engine. So twist the loud grip and go!!
