• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I'M NEW TO THE SPYDER WORLD BUT I LOVE THE BIKE . JUST WONDERING WHICH AFTERMARKET EXHAUST CAN IS THE LOUDEST, WITHOUT HAVIB=NG TO REMAP.
THX

Question : Why are you so interested in the noise? :dontknow:
Performance doesn't have to come at the expense of somebody's eardrums these days. ;)

I have a 2011 RS and I have the two brothers dual exhaust and love it. It has a sound of its own and it just slips on.

LOUD...?

LOUD...??? plz define...

LOUD is not necessarily a good thing... i prefer TONE...
and keep in mind, your actions determine what others think of you... your neighbors, your riding partners, etc... i replaced my OEM with an after-market, and on my 1st ride with it, i didn't like it because the TONE wasn't compatible with my ears... but worse, my fellow riders, especially the ones behind me, told me to cover the 6 o'clock position because my new mega-phone was blowing them away... so, think about what you buy, and it's results...

because i like the looks of my new muffler, i've inserted a series of baffles to quiet it down, and the tone is now perfect...

keep the rubber side down...

make one

it's easy, and dirt cheap. use a thrush or cherry bomb glasspack and a car elbow. sounds like nascar.
if you or a buddy can weld, it should cost about 35-50 bucks:clap:. it's hard to keep paint on them though.

Well..!!

You just have to go by ear, preferably your ear..:roflblack:best would be to join up to rydes and visit shop to hear the pipes in person. I think I heard a hundred pipes on u-tube and such and it just is not the same. I ended up with the Hindle and really like it. But then that is just me...

Although the Tail Gunner and Punisher are loud exhausts, this Shotgun exhaust might have them beat........ It's hard to tell on videos, but you can't go wrong with either of these three if you want loud. I personally like the Shotgun the best.

The louder you go because of more exhaust flow, the more likely you will need a fuel controller. Keep that in mind.

Changing the exhaust would most certanialy require the re maping so as not to run lean.

By the way i have the Two Brothers and KuwlMetal intake with Power Comander runs and sounds great.

Once you start opening things up so that the bike can breathe easier; there's a real good chance that you'll have to plan with the fuel delivery system so that you're not running lean...
sorry... :sour:

Run one like Doc had going to Chicago. We all fell back at least 1/4 mile and it was still killing us. I wish I could remember the name of it.
