• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Lots of new stuff coming out for the Spyder

I know that can't be your Spyder can laying on the floor in the second picture, did they have an accident already?

They want to bolt up the stock can to make sure it works with it.

I emailed Givi for price quotes, but then found lots from different vendors on the web, like

(Ken, did you take off all corporate logos from that Spyder??)

You folks towing a trailer, how did you tie in for running, clearance, brake and tail lights? There were a couple of rigs at Daytona but I did not get a chance [between rain squals] to talk to the riders about such!

:spyder:In response to the post about corbin and Harley riders. I have been riding motorcycles for 47yrs. and owned many different brands, there is just something about how a harley feels and if it needs explaing you would'nt understand anyway.I now ride a 2001 Harley softail and i paid the same for it as the Spyder !!!!
As far as Corbin prices they are high but you get what you pay for and they make seats and acc. for all types of bikes and their seats are one nice ride.

Ken, your bike is really sick without the fenders! Must be a bitch in the rain though! ;D

Side note...if you don't mind, would you please describe the engine mods you've done and the HP gain. TIA

This is exactly the type of accessory I was hoping someone would come out with for the Spyder. I posted a message to Ken on Can-Am Talk yesterday asking if he is planning to fabricate a mount for the wingrack as well, so that Givi side cases could be mounted, in addition to the top box. I am anxious to see his reply, as I think that would be just about a perfect solution to the luggage problem. ;D

Man, there is never enough storage space! That's why we bought a Spyder for my wife. I can't fit both her and the camping gear on the BMW at the same time.

corbin is working on saddle bags

Lamont, is it too soon to ask:

Maybe we can list on the vendor page the companies that have Spyder products or Spyder-compatible parts so far:

Directline

Evoluzione

Billetbikeparts

Kewlmetal

Fairingscreens

Boogey

Tattoofinder

Talon

(I know I've forgotton others I've read on this m.b.)

Givi?

Corbin??

we have built the engine to our stage three specs - high compression (std. bore) pistons, stage one head work, degreed high lift cams, race airbox & performance exhaust (these mods put us just over 150 h.p.). the next step is that we bought a brand new six speed rotax engine and will build it as a stage four (using our big bore pistons) which should give us close to 170 h.p..

Ken your bike looks fantastic. Shame I'm on the opposite coast...

A couple of questions, what would a full engine build cost?

Is it legal to remove all the fenders? I'm in NJ. I want to take them all off too. :) I love that look.
