Lost my F3's RH ACCESS COVER - anyone know where to get replacement?

Hello, I Lost my RH ACCESS COVER (OEM 708400257),
Does anyone know where I can get a used or less expensive one? The color is Steel Black. Can Am wants $214 (seems a little steep to me for such a small piece).

On my ride home from the dealership with my new 2022 F3-T, my left side cover came flying off. I stopped and tried to look for it in the near by field, but no luck. I called the dealership and they replaced it for free… They are poorly designed and shouldn’t come off so easily.

Leaders rpm in michigan. Right hand access cover in black under $20 for 2020 f3 base.

Lamonster also has a video on his site explaining how to attach access panel correctly.

Good to know all this.

Had mine all apart for over a week. Parts I ordered still not in and Daytona calls, so I put it back together. Took a full day to assemble what I had apart. Ride today on the interstate and I spotted my right-side panel flipping up and down. Pulled off and fiddled. No luck.

Wife got mad at me so I slowly went holding it down until getting off at an exit. Got off the bike and still struggled to get the darn thing to hold tight in the front. Crap design but finally it stuck. Over 100 miles on mine right now. The more I play with it the less I like it. Then also the far less do I like the supplier I chose for extras. LaMonster is NOT that supplier as they don't deal with what I wanted. Maybe that's why?

I would check out any junk yards or possibly eBay. As to what Can Am charges for a new one, welcome to Spyder parts!

They do not specify the color, but I'm pretty sure it is gloss black. You should call them to make sure it is the color that you want.

I installed a tether on mine, I was warned that they are not latched easily

I just purchased (2) for myself in May... There are several websites online selling them for $20 ea. It's a good price. Don't pay more than $20 ea.

Also note, the plastic thumb screws do not come with most panels. I think the parts diagram shows the thumb screw as a separate part number.

I had both my old service panels, and I reused the thumb screws. They simply pop in/out of the panel.

On the F3S there's 2 ways to install that cover. If you do it wrong you can lift the front section up a bit. If it's in correctly you can't lift it.
Adrian at BajaRon's showed me mine was on wrong. Now I always check it. So does he whenever I go over there lol.
