• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

And what effect does " not having that spring do " ???? ..... There are hundreds of separate Spyder parts that just arn't available .... I think that would be the case for that spring, I hope for your sake I'm mis-taken ..... Mike

I’m reminded of the story of the Armorer that needed a new spring for the firing mech of a howitzer. He requested it, but local supply didn’t have it. Supply ordered the firing mechanism, complete, thinking they’d strip out the spring, and have the rest of the parts against future needs.

Warehouse didn’t have the mechanism so they ordered the next larger assembly, thinking they’d strip out the mech and have the rest of the parts.....

And so on up the line....

About 2 months later the Armorer got a call to come pick up his new howitzer.

If you order the spring, the dealer will order the switch, and so on and so on, until you pick up your new Spyder......
