It pains me to say goodbye to a wonderful woman and friend that I would possibly never met if it had not been for the spyder. Leslee Turner passed away from cancer on yesterday afternoon. I met her in September 2014 when I stopped for a bite to eat while taking my maiden voyage on my just delivered 2014 RT. I had put my first 35 miles on the bike and she came over and started a conversation as if we had known each other for years. Since then, our families have grown close and gone on many vacations together, as well as many spyder trips. In fact, my longest day in the saddle was on a trip with her to the OBX for a 600 mile day. She will always be fondly remembered. Please keep her family and especially her husband Ron in your thoughts and prayers. She is the one on the left in our photo at Mt. Mitchell. For some reason, we always seemed to get beside each other, just so we could laugh and talk when no one else had anything to say. I will miss her dearly.
