Lost a friend over the Spyder!!

I have lost friends, and left friends cause of comments made on facebook... remember, it's not between you two, but all of their friends, family and coworkers.

And that comment has been said to me a few times, some people it came from was fine, others kinda made my blood boil.

You have to be careful about what you say in print.

Especially locker room humor.
Words said in person with a smile on your face and a twinkle in your eye take on a different meaning when they sit barren on the paper.
I have to agree, the OP probably went a little over the top with his comment.
I also agree the OP went out of his way to apologize and correct the situation.
Somethings get broken and you just can't fix them.
That's why you don't break them in the first place.

As to myself, I have a grave dislike for insult humor.
I have a poor opinion of Don Rickles.

The occasional zinger can be funny but constant teasing is just abuse.

Just my opinion, I could be wrong.

Sorry to hear that this has happened to you...:shocked:
I try to actively NOT "poke the bear" too much; self-effacing humor is more my style. :thumbup:
beyond the email... I like the idea of wearing a dress over to his house and inviting him for a ride...
