There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Loss of Pressure in Rear Suspension Airbag

:dontknow: Having an issue with continual loss of pressure in the airbag for the rear suspension of a RT Techno. Apparently the bag has already been replaced under warranty, but I still have the problem. Just wanted to know if anyone else has been having a similar issue and what suggestions they may have.:helpsmilie:

take it back to your dealer tell them to fix :yikes::yikes: it again if it's under waranty. shounds like they did'nt get it right the first time. jc

There is a service bulletin for this problem, and a repair kit. There has also been a report of a faulty fitting in the repair kit. Your dealer should follow the repair procedure in the service bulltin first. If that fails, he can call BRP tech for assistance. This problem is common enough that the tech folks should have a good handle on it.

I think all of the above is quite correct as I had the same problem.
1. Bag was replaced.
2. later the fittings were found to be leaking.
3. Now I have a 5# drop in 7 days.. Don't think this should occur and shortly I will address this with the dealer

I do not have the Auto Compressor.. I have the Cheap RT..:roflblack:

Yep, I just got mine back from the dealer. It would leak from 60 psi to 0 in about 20 minutes. Dealer installed a new airbag and the kit. We will see how it holds up...

I also have the BareBone RT. I had to get the kit put in but it still leaked, but a LOT less. After several tests I checked the valve core...yep...screwed it least 3/4 turn. Leak stopped.

airbag fitting...

If I get it apart - together - and working without too many parts left over I'll not only post about it, I'll crow about it.
Roger, make sure that the problem is not a faulty airbag fitting. I had the bag and fitting replaced on my SILVER RT a/c and finally traced the cause to a hastily silver soldered fitting.

:dontknow:
Will a shot of Ride On seal the air bag?:dontknow:
We are not just talking about an airbag, but an entire air system. Lots of tubes and fittings,, plus a Schrader valve, in addition to the airbag. Even more stuff if you have the RTS with the compressor and its kin. Even if you could use Ride-On for the airbag (which is unlikely) it would probably plug up the rest of the system, rendering it inoperable.

airbag...

As Scotty mentions, there are quite a few components, even with the non-compressor system. It seems as if most of the problems reported have been with the fittings and/or hose, and not the bag itself. I wound up doing a complete submersion test before I found my leak... and this was after the bag and fitting had been replaced by the dealer.
