There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Loser Wave

Yesterday afternoon I was riding home from a group ride in North West Connecticut. Minding my own business, when a "Harley" rider make this L (aka loser) symbol over his head with his hand. I think to myself. Really? Are you still in high school? Does my Spyder offend you that much? Maybe is was my full face helmet or reflective vest. CT has no helmet law and the doo-rag is the official CT helmet.

I supposed the fact that I probably make more money than him, have a great family, went to college, will be making love to my partner Wendy that night, after eating a prime steak, could upset him.

ok...I am done venting now.

Some times you have to look deep into your self, If your secure about your self you wouldn't let thing's like that upset you. Also it could be quite possible that' that A- hole wasn't even on a Harley, Can't tell you how many times someone mistook one of my Metrics for a Harley.
Just saying.:doorag:

Wouldn't take it too personally, a Harley rider could give the same response if you were riding anything but a Harley, and then again maybe even if you were riding a Sportster or a Dyna. And if you were wearing a helmet in CT then it would imply you had a brain worth protecting.

Next time that happens just respond with the appropriate one finger salute.

I lose more sleep over what the next farkling bill will be, than something like this! :roflblack:
Don't let it spoil the fun!

I'm invisible I think.

I am perty sure that to some HD riders (not all of course, most are fine) but when I meet some on the road my spyder and I somehow turn invisible!! These guys will stare streight ahead and make it a point not to see me or wave. Therefore the only explanation is BRP has a secret cloaking devise buried in the Nanny somewhere and it works sometimes. I think the technoligy came from the Klingons and is top secret.
On the plus side of this when this happens you can pick your nose without anyone seeing you so I just take advantage of the situation.
(to my HD friends, all in good fun Guys) I will throw a hand out for anyone riding anything, Wave at a small scooter and watch the grin spread across the drivers face. Let's just enjoy.

I love your attitude

Saturday when I was ryding my beast down to the St. Pete area to meet up with another Spyder for a Ryde, I came up on a little bitsy yellow scooter with a petite female driver doing about 50 in the bike lane. This girl could really ride. Keeping those little bitty front wheels in a straight line is not easy. When we stopped At a light, I looked over and gave Hera "thumbs up, way to go" wave. That very serious rider under that yellow helmet broke the widest grin I think I have ever seen. Made me happy to see someone else out there having as much fun as I was.

I posted a thread a few weeks ago with the same topic. Only difference was the guy in my thread held his hand up in the air instead of on his forhead.

Now THAT would make for an interesting dating website...
"Let's get together and compare tatoos"
"Are those Chaps from the Armani collection?"
I shouldn't joke about this, and I apologize if I've offended anybody in here... nojoke

Don't let it bother you, just smile and ride on, you're never going to change this person mind and you don't know each other so don't take it personal.

I'm happy in my own little world, too fat, ugly and old to care what others think of me.
