• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Loose Gas Cap?

I've long been concerned that every time I gas up the cap is obviously not on tightly. Its become loose....or never was tight to begin with. New cap, old cap, replacement Stant cap from auto store....all the same. I got to thinking about why they didn't go on tighter and thought maybe the rim of the cap was hitting the plastic around the gap nozzle. I trimmed a good portion of the rim off one of the caps and that did the job. Now the cap stays on tight.

I've had no problems with fumes or blow-back when opening the cap, but just to be safe, if you try this mod, remember to open the cap very slowly.
