• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Looks like Tapatalk is gone for good!

It's really too bad, I use TT solely for using forums and I refuse to use the regular web based site because it loads too much stuff that kills your battery and eats data. There are still a lot of vBulletin Solutions forums that are up and running through TT, not real sure why someone would just give up on supporting it. I guess there's more to it...

Well this explains why I've been having so much trouble lately. I've been reinstalling, etc trying to get it to work again :banghead:

its a pain to use the forum on a mobile device via web browser. It would at least be nice if there was a mobile version of the site that automatically loaded when you're on a mobil device.

While I preferred earlier versions of Tapatalk, I still found it to be the best way to navigate and post.
I believe there's a way to get rid of the 'annoying nag question'.

Will have to to look for other mobile friendly ways to access this forum for sure.

Hoping for a replacement app

I really preferred TT for most mobile devices ... mobile browsing leaves a lot to be desired especially on a phone.
