• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Looks like it has to be a white one for me

I have a white RS-S. It's an elegant color that perfectly complements my natural panache and charm. :ohyea:

(.....and if you believe that, you'll believe everything and anybody!! )

It is a well known fact that white is the best color for the Spyder . . . and you get to belong to all the various "color cliques" since white is all colors! I state this as fact, and here is no particular bias associated with it . . . :ohyea::rolleyes:

Whitey has a new home

You can now add one more to the "coats of many colors"; I arrived home this PM with mine, with 40 miles on the odometer! The steering is much, much lighter/easier than on my '11. Have to train myself to keep an even lighter touch than before. It tracked down the interstate nicely with a minimum of turbulence from the couple of trucks I got behind just to see. On one short road with curves, it did seem to handle them easier than the '11.

Service by the Winston-Salem gang was excellent. The finance lady saved me about $60 a year on insurance over what I had on the '11 RT. The mechanics hooked up my Gerbing wire to the battery so I had heat on the ride home.

Gotta sit down now and read the manual. Svc Mngr did give me a copy of the Maint Schedule to be done at 3000 miles. The most significant items are oil/filter change, BUD's hook up/update, check/adj drive belt, check and tighten exhaust pipes/clamps/joints/gasket condition. Lots of other items are mostly filler...IMHO. Price of this is $241 which doesn't sound unreasonable. I'll have it done and get my free laser alignment at same time.:D

:congrats: on that new ryde. Will be waiting for your 5000 mile review. (Two weeks or so?) :roflblack:

I think you have warmer wx up your way than here on east coast. Long range forcast for next coupe wks is low low teens at best for nite and 20-30's day. Pretty nice coming home at 3pm with temp about 40 deg. Mine is the first '14 sold by this dealer. I came close to getting the ORANGE one but I knew Bob would be upset. LOL.

Thanks Bob. I can now start putting a few of the things i saved off the '11; NBV foot rest, adj side wings, some pin striping or something to add a little color, and hopefully the LED brake lights will also work. Just hoping Utopia will soon come up with the fittings as I really need the support.
