• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Looking to purchase a Skid Plate - recommendations?

Oem replacement found at https://www.cheapcycleparts.com/ with opportunity available by all means upgrade with some lighting:firstplace::popcorn::ohyea::yes: was most impressed with SpyderPops led skid :yes: 74701D9A-B34E-412B-98B3-FCE5648B02ED.jpeg better than fog lights alone & WIDE :2thumbs: (can identify the trash/debris along a curb {hopefully no nails})

I too recommend Spyderpops. I had him install no-light skid plate at the Deadwood 3WR and couldn't be more satisfied.

.

Very happy with mine. Saved the bottom of my :spyder2: a few times judging by the gouges in it.

One good scrape and you'll learn. Spyderpops skid plate was a super easy install. However, the LED lights started going out shortly after install. Don't know why, but their after-market turn signal LEDs began going out also.

Motorcycle Dave's - You sell a skid plate w/o lights for a '20 RTL? Couldn't located any skid plates on your web site.......thanks.

No, the skid plate will not serve as a belt guard. Belt guards are actually affixed to the swing arm which is considerably aft of where the skid plate ends. The skid plate actually replaces the smaller BRP OEM panel that us under and slightly aft of the nose of the Spyder. The skid plate is designed to protect the underside of the nose of the Spyder and the underbody immediately aft of the nose.
