• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hello Spyder Riders, I am new to this forum but have been riding a spyder rt for 18 months. I am interested in meeting other owners for group rides and get togethers. If anyone else would like to do same we should find a central location. we can't let the HARLEY GUYS HAVE ALL THE FUN. Please post your interest Thanks..

i am not on here much just logged on in while. there is a facebook group called metro newyork, Eric and his wife Kathy created it after joining our Hudson Valley Spyder Riders goup also on facebook. we just had a get together today at our house in hopewell juncton, ny.

There is some great riding roads in New Jersey and up state New York not too far away for a good days ride, would love to get together for a ride when the season starts. Tried to start a local riding group two years ago in the North NJ area had a good list of 8 owners but each time I tried to put together a ride everyone had things to do and never could get it going so I gave up and ride alone.

Live in Merrick, Driving an RTS. Very interested in joining a group. Went to the Javits center today for the show. The new ST is very nice. Rode in because the day was so nice.
 
Riding In the Binghamton Area into Pa and up to the Finger lakes

Well I life In Binghamton and have driven these roads most of My life . I can tell you there are lots of roads to ride that go through some spectacular views . I would equake to the Hill country in Texas for some of it. Be happy to share some roads with spyder riders coming through the area.

Anyone Riding in the Rockland County NY Area?

Just started riding. Looking to meet up for riding in this area. Anyone interested. ?
 
This is just my experience, but with my weekends busy with work I've found it almost impossible to find other Spyders to ride with. In the end, I've found that riding with other (two wheeled) touring bikes works out very well and there is a group I found in Southern California that meets on Tuesdays. I might also look on http://MeetUp.com to see what your options are if the number of Spyder riders available in your area isn't enough to keep you busy.
 
Any riders near Corning NY

We are from Corning NY... got my husband a Spyder last year for his birthday. Now that he's got a summer under his belt we are looking for people to ride with....

Check out the NY Spyder ryders group page. Many of the members in our group are active riders and you should be able to find several in your area.

Just sayin'...........
