• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Looking for options of floor boards or highway pegs

floorboards/highway pegs

Check out ISCI's website before you order, or call Jeff who can answer any questions about the floorboards or highway pegs. You can't go wrong with their quality.

I have a question so hopefully someone can answer it today so I can get this on order. I like your footrest. I am 6'3 and need something to stretch out also so I like the position of the esi footrest. Are there any worries that someone will come back and put their weight on the footrest and screw stuff up?
It is my understanding that these footrests cannot with stand weight correct?

If I decided to go your route and do what you do....
1) I just need to buy the pegs

2) esi bracket
http://www.esicycleproducts.com/spyderfootrest.html

on your esi brackets it looks like yours is all one piece...in this picture it shows these esi brackets with "linkages"...am I looking at the wrong bracket? Also yours is all black, these show silver screws...were did you get the black screws?
And do I need the foot peg clevis kit? It is silver as well and I want black...
Yes, you just need the footrest from rivco. It has a clevis built in. The black bolts come with the pegs. I just got the main bracket from ESI. I am 6'6" so I really didn't need the link extensions. The brackets are advertised "not built to stand on". But I really haven't had any problems with anyone resting their feet on it. I think it would take quite a bit to bend them.f
One thing to be aware of is that these brackets and pegs put you feet out quite a bit and take some getting used to. At first I found them a little strange but now I like them a lot.

I did end up buying the rivco floor boards at americade yesterday....still debating on highway pegs...they don't have there's ready yet :(.

I has the Esi ones and don't like the flexing they do.

Later,

Shawn
