There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Looking for northern NJ dealers please

The more I think about going back to 2 wheels the more I give the :spyder: more and more consideration.
Tomorrow I'm going to try to find some dealers and check out what they have in stock. Just wondering what dealers folks here in northern NJ have used, and if they've been happy with them. Any issues in buying your scoot there or service issues?
I live next door to Wayne, so looking to keep up north if possible, but if there is a good dealer down the shore, then please let me know!

Thanks in advance!

Just stay away from Motorcycle Mall, they are horrible!!! The one in Ledgewood seams ok and there is one in Greenwood Lake but I have yet to go there.

I bought mine at Motorcycle Mall in Bellville and I dealt with a guy named
Orlando who was very helpful....he did two trade in's and two new bikes (one two wheeler and one spyder) deal over the phone with no problems at all. We service our bikes at Extreme Machines in Millstone off of RT 33
They have a huge service area and have a guy who who really knows the
Spyder. I've been there several times for service (antifreeze leak) the upgrade and had them put on several after market parts...never a problem. We almost did the deal there as we live in Central Jersey but
Motorcycle Mall gave us better $ for the trade in's. If you do go to Extreme work with a guy named Mo (732-786-9696) Tell him Pat & Steph told you about him. They actually gave a better price for the Spyder. Good luck and just for the record I am lovin my SPY D! :2thumbs:

Go to Ledgewood Motor Sports in Ledgewood NJ

Bought my SE 5 from them .
Above board dealings and service has been excellent .

Maybe a little too far north for you, I use RUSTY PALMER in
Honesdale Pa. I buy all my toys from Rusty's. [since 1988]
I i'm only ten miles or so from Ledgewood, But i still go to
Honesdale, Even if i have tow something there. Check his
WEB. You won't beleave the size of the new store he's building
[100,000+sq ft.]

I got my 09 SE5 from Motorcycle Mall and it was the worst experience I very had buying a toy and I buy many and it was the last I will ever buy from them, not to mention they really messed up my Spyder when I went for the first 600 miles services trust me just not nice people and I know of two other spyders owners in my area who also got there spyders from them but does go there anymore.

I now go to Ledgewood Motor Sports in Ledgewood NJ for all my services and have had a few done already and they are great to deal with. Joe the service manager is a real nice Guy to talk with and the spyder mechanic Bob really knows his stuff and I trust him to work on my baby. I am heading down there tomorrow Wednesday for the update to the update and for me it is a hour and half ride but it is worth it as I know they will do the right thing for me.

Thanks to everyone for their input on where to look- sure do appreciate it!

Burg~ if your at Ledgewood tomorrow and see someone gimping around the Spyders with a cane covered in stickers, come on over and say hi! I'll be more than happy to pick your brain about the Spyder! ;)

I will be more than happy to chat with you and tell all I know about the spyders, but I have to tell you this all that I know is what I have learned from this great web site/forum and from the many many members who has taken the time to makes our spyders even better. As for mine after you see it you will, well lets just say it speaks for itself. My plan is to be there by around 1pm give and take have to wait for the sun to be really up as the temp will be in the 40's over night and need some warmth before I start my ride down there. PM me and I will give you my cell.

Actually I was wrong about the greenwood lake dealer, they used to do spyders but now it looks like they are only a Kawasaki dealer. However I will recomend:
BAY HARBOR MOTORS CORP.457 BAY STREET
STATEN ISLAND
NY US 10304
I just bought my Can-Am DS450 from them and they were very friendly and gave me a good deal, in fact I saved 2k then I would have if I bought the unit at ledgewood. However Ledgewood is good for service just be carefull when you looking for a deal when buying as they kind of had the Motorcylce Mall attitude when it comes to sales.

Burg~ sorry I missed you. Was there around 11ish this morning. I made my way to the Motorcycle Mall and holy smokes! They do pack a lot of bikes into that place don't they???
They had 3 Spyders there, one was an '09 Phantom, and they were offering me a deal of $16,999. Being as that I've never ridden one, I wasn't quite ready to trade in my Roadking just yet.

So thanks to everyone for the great input on where to look!
