• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I will get a new helmet and I am looking at getting a Blue tooth setup
Is there a company that makes a blue tooth unit that will work with an iPad, iPod,
iPhone and/or an alpine media player ??? that I can use in a modular helmet also if it

Hi Dave. Welcome to the forum.

My husband and I use the Sena SMH10. One of our friends got the Sena unit for his 1/2 helmet. We can talk to each other individually or we can all talk together as a conference conversation. We have 3/4 helmets and although there is some wind noise, we don't have any problem hearing each other at highway speeds or talking on the phone. You can bluetooth your ipods to the Sena or directly plug them into the units. (Our friend does this as his Ipod is a 1st generation that doesn't have bluetooth.) Sena also makes units that you can plug your gps, ipod, etc into it and it will transmit to your headset.

There are several good options out there for you. This is just one that works very well for us.

$$$ Cost $$$

Hi
Thanks for the quick reply
Can you give me the cost of the unit and did you install them your self or were they factory installed into
your helmets?

Look up Uclear. They have a boomless mic so they work with almost any helmet. You can hook up your bluetooth devices as well.

You install them yourself in your helmet of choice. There are different styles for different helmet types. The install is quick and easy. They sell them as a single headset or in pairs. Price is usually around $180 for a single to $300 for a pair. I spent some time searching internet stores and got our pair quite a bit less.
