Looking for Handlebar risers for 2018 RT - any suggestions?

I would like to move my handlebars up and back. I’ve tried searching for a riser but I’m not seeing what I’m looking for. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance!

I have Lamonster 2" riser and "short reach handlebar". I enlarged locater hole in bars. The bars are more adjustable that way. That gets bars higher and closer.

Not for a 2018. The only option is the Tri Axis bars. Figure about $600 for the bars and another $600 in labor as it's VERY labor intensive.

We got the Tri-Axis bars for my wife's '17 RT-S. Local dealer said that the black ones are about $650, chrome is about $825. He had exactly ONE set of bars in stock, and of course, they were chrome. However, since they had been sitting on his shelf since about 2014, he let us have them for $600.

Don't take the "VERY labor intensive" part lightly. IT IS. I took advantage of the situation and added a J&M CB radio and an XM radio on the left side of the bars (using a home-made bracket), so it took some extra time, but the flat-rate manual says 2.0 hours just to change the bars. Converting the base to the Tri-Axis bars adds a bit, so a home mechanic would likely take at least 4 hours to do the job. And that is IF you have all the tools laid out and ready.

Thank you! I guess I’ll have to suffer with stock. Maybe I can find a way to move my backrest forward a half inch to an inch :riding:

As someone who purchased the Comfort Seat and Tri-Axis bars, amongst other things, as part of the OTD deal I am very satisfied with what I did and did get a brake on the seat and bars as well as the installation labor on the bars. Moving your backrest forward might be harder than you think and you might create a bigger gap than you like between the seat's lumbar support and your torso. IMO, at resale or trade in time the Tri-Axis bars are more than just a farkle; they're very adjustable addition to a fine machine.

Take a look at Heli-bars…. So many ways to customize. Pricey but worth it if you are ready for a fix.

While I LOVE my Helibars, there's no such thing for a 2018 RT.

Again thank you for your response! I can move the backrest pad forward by adding a shim between the bracket and pad. I don’t need much, just enough for the back rest to make better contact. I’m leaving in the morning to travel to New Hampshire from the Rochester New York area. We will be riding north into Maine and the returning on September seventh. I moved the backrest forward a bit and tightened the hinge bolt which seemed to help. Not a long term answer, but may help for the trip.
