• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Looking for first Spyder

:congrats: on your new Spyder, Panther!

Good thread Panther. Hope this is not considered stepping on a thread, but I just joined and am not sure how to start a new one. Looks like you got just what you needed. Hoping that some of these folks can help this crazy cajun with his next purchase. Long time motorcycle rider and now very interested in the Spyders. Do alot of my distance riding solo and like the idea of the Spyder layout alot more than a typical trike layout. Seems to be alot more stable. Unfortunatly the local dealer here is not very good, but I can travel to get a new one. I like all of the technology with the abs, traction control and stabiility control, plus the locking storage. I am leaning toward the RT-S.

To start a new thread, go to the main Forum page. There's a list of the forums in which to post - General discussion, shop talk, Ladies, Off-topic, etc. Read the descriptions to decide which one is most appropriate.

Click on the forum in which you want to post. Then you'll see a list of threads already in that forum.

Above the list of threads you should see a red button labeled "Post New Thread." Just click on that button. There will be an area in which to compose your post, format it, add emoticons, etc. You can preview it before posting or just submit without previewing.

Easy-peasy!
