Looking for dealer info in central Mass

Hello folks, I've decided on a 2013 RT-S SE5 and hopefully will have one by month-end. I'm hoping to get some dealer recomendations in central Mass from Spyder owners in the area.
I have 4 dealers within 50 miles to deal with.
1. Bob's Ski-Doo & Power Center
2. Rt 3A Motors
3. Higgins Power Sports
4. Flamingo Motor Sports

3 of the dealer quotes are close and 1 is real hard to ignore, so now I'm dealer shopping.

I'm not looking to throw any of the dealers under the bus, just hoping I could get replies/recomendations / experiences from anyone who has had dealings with them.

Thanks for the opportunity to use this forum and for your help.

Hi, I'm in Bellingham one town over...

I use Bob skidoo and I've been very pleased so far, an hour away but worth it. The tech there know what they're doing and the spyder rides better after I have it serviced by them.

Higgins as a good rep as well, been to the store to look around but never used them, Flamingo never delt with them or heard anything about them so no help there.

There is one dealer on your list that I would steer clear off, won't mention which one but been there and heard so many horror stories. Last year they tried to sell a RT Limited for 35k touting that they're rare and limited etc... They did not get the sale of course. No prices on anything in the store and you get best guess prices that they think you will pay.

Bob's

I just bought a 2012 leftover, and found Bob the owner very easy to deal with. All the folks there were very nice!

Hello

I will not say any thing about the dealer on the CT, MA line. I did buy my RT SEM-5 from them but will not ever go back.

I like going to Higgin's after I talk to them about the problem I have picking up my bike from the CT shop they bent over backwards to help me out.

Good luck and you will love the ride.

Bob's has been great so far.

Thanks for the replies.

Many thanks to Harry, Steve, Fryertuck and pyderRI. Your responses confirmed what I gathered from phone calls. I've narrowed it done to the 2 you all mentioned. Higgins has the model already in stock so I'll be heading there this Sunday for a test ride. Then will give Bob a call to see when he's set up for a test as well. Steve, did you get the 2012 RT-S Blue? I was eyeing that one in Jan but wanted to try the 13's out. Rich

When Jennifer and I took our ride around the country in 2009 on our 2008 SE5 we needed a tire when we got to MA. Bob from Mashpee took us to his dealer, Bob's Ski-doo and Power Center. It is a family owned dealership, small in size but big in knowledge and hospitality. When you call him, tell him Dudley from CA recommended him. I bet he remembers.

I've been to Bob's twice already and will be going again once he's set up for test rides. Yes, I agree with you, very hospitable atmosphere. I'll mention your name. Thanks Rich.

I just bought mine from the CT/MA dealer you mentioned (I live 5 miles from them)

So far, my experience has been very positive but I would be curious to hear what happened in case there's something I need to be aware of going forward. If you feel comfortable doing it, could you tell me what happened? PM is fine if you'd prefer not to post it here.

THANKS!!!

Finally....

Picked up the 2013 RT-S Circuit Yellow yesterday from Bob's. Great machine. Only glitch was, during their run thru explaining the controls I managed to somehow "break" the ignition switch in full view of 3 can am techs. They were showing me how to lock the wheel, did it twice and then I tried and well no locking at all. New switch on order and will have it installed at 600 mile check. Dealing with Bob's staff is amazing, feels like family, seriously. Cudo's out to Alan at HigginsSports, he was great too. Recommend him for anyone in the Worcester county area looking to buy. I let Alan know I decided to go with Bob's and why. He thanked me for letting him know and told me should I need something or have questions to just give him a call.
