• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Looking for a tool

This is the inside of my top case on my 2020 RT Limited. I remember seeing a "tool" that slips over the locking nut that makes it easier to turn. For the life of me I can't remember where I saw it. Who here can help? Thanks.

If you cant find the tool your looking for, I am sure that if you know of a machine shop or welding shop around some one could make one for you with no problem! Good luck!

The "tool" I remember seeing was made out of rubber or plastic.

You could make one out of wood if you have the tools. All it has to do is slip down over both sides of that raised area. If you were in Maine I would make one for you!!

Oh bugga!! :gaah: I saw the title on this thread and immediately thought that bluewoo had just posted about one here:

But I guess that's just me being mean! :p Yet strangely, it feels so right?!?

Sorry, but I can't help you any with the top case 'tool', just the other one.... :roflblack:

I have a pair of flat nose/duck bill pliers that would work. LOWES has them, sometimes in the electrical tools area.

I used a small block of wood and two dowels. Figured spacing, drilled holes in block, glued dowels, works great.

I’ll fool with that once Ann’s top box arrives. We used channel lock slip joint pliers on tour, but they mar the plastic.
