There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Looking for a summer helmet

On the Nolan Trilogy, can you actually feel the air coming through that top vent onto your noggin?

I agree, plus it is very similar in the features you are use to.

I was asking, but I am assumming by your reply that you can feel the airflow. The only thing I dont like is the spot for the NCom. I wouldn't care, but I bought different bluetooth last year (scala G4 powerset), and that little port would bother me until I broke down and got the Ncom to make it look like "right". :banghead:

Scala's will attach to the Nolan N43 triology. I have Scala 2's on mine.

I tried the n-com system and did not like it.

I know it will work, but look at that built in port, its just sitting there taunting you!!!;):p

Hawk,

I know you said you were looking for a summer helmet. I had the same problem with 'hot' head. But, I have an Arai and didn't want to spend more money. So, bonecrusher (a member here) suggested the Under Armour mesh skull cap. It worked for me to keep my head cool during the hot months and it also kept the helmet liner clean. Since I liked the Arai, this was a less expensive way to go. If it didn't work, I was only out around $15.

Sometimes you can help the airflow by trimming out some of the foam that is in the liner so that the vents are unrestricted...

I have pretty much decided I want the Nolan, but there is a newer version out (BTW, if you are looking for a cheap good helmet, the regular N43 is discounted heavily now that is on closeout!! The new one is N43E. Look at the revzilla video on it to see the differences.) and of course they don't have my size in yet, well in the design I like. Anyway, I finally got around to looking at the BRP helmet and previously I installed the summer vents on it. Obviously I did not pay too close attention when I did it. Why, do I say that? I remembered what Bob had suggested, so I finally got around to looking at the holes. I took the "vents" off to inspect the holes, and guess what I found. The liner, well the hard liner (Styrofoam, I am guessing), is 100% covering the holes. What is the purpose of that? Why even have holes for venting??? Does anyone have the BRP helmet and can pop their "vents" off to check the vent holes? Now this is not really a BRP helmet, but a Givi rebranded, just FYI. :banghead::banghead::banghead:

You want to be careful of Closeouts unless you know the born on date of the helmet.
What may be a great helmet at a Very Cheap price may be 4 years or older and the Protective shell and inner foam has a shelf life even if its in a Box!!
If I,m buying Online I always call the Store and ask them to check the date inside the model helmet.
If your in a store just take off the rear head cushion and LOOK!
