• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Looking for a summer helmet

I have a big hot head (keep it clean folks) and have the BRP helmet ST-1 helmet. I have changed out the top vent insert to the mesh one, but I cannot feel any airflow. I left it on through the winter and did not ever get cold. Anyway, this helmet is good for the winter, but last summer, I constantly had a wet head from sweating, even on cooler days. I am looking for a helmet that has alot of airflow. One thing I love about the ST-1 is the flip down sun visor, so I don't think I can live without one on my next helmet. Any suggestions?

Sometimes you can help the airflow by trimming out some of the foam that is in the liner so that the vents are unrestricted...

The best way to get air flow is to have the helmet in the air flow, But then you get buffering and noise.
Every helmet is going to be a compromise, In 40 years I've still haven't found one i completely like, And as far as vents go i really don't think they do any thing but cause more noise and turbulence. :dontknow:

Awesome! Thanks. I've had my eye on this helmet for a while. Almost time to retire my AC12 carbon fiber helmet and get something new.

Another thumbs up here for the Nolan Trilogy N43. I wore it all last summer and it worked well for cooling. Also, I have the NCom bluetooth com system built in our helmets which we really like.

You want vents and comfort. I got this in white with the Normal Face shield and the drop down visor is Darker than most and anti-fog for sunsets.

I agree that the Nolan Triology 43 is a great helmet! I have had it since last June. Very comfortable and has built in sun visor. You can take off shield for real hot days in a minute and just use the visor. I only use the front chinbar when on the highway. You can get on Amazon for $204 shipped.

On the Nolan Trilogy, can you actually feel the air coming through that top vent onto your noggin?
