• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

On my travels to Spyderfest 2013 while refueling I lost my moms family heirloom diamond ring. :pray: I do not know exactly where I just remember recalling where I jerked my gloves off because my hands were very cold To get my credit card out of the from heard a clunk and assumed it was the electrical plug-in on my gloves hitting the side of the Spyder. I have called all of my fuel stops and left messages. It was somewhere between Kingman Arizona and Springfield Missouri. I believe that miracles still do happen in our lives. So if you see the sign at a convenience store/gas station says phone diamond ring identify please let me know. I am offering a generous reward. This is a family heirloom that cannot be replaced.

Karyl, I'm so very sorry to hear this and hope and pray that someone out there is kind and honest enough to give you a phone call if they found it. Thoughts and prayers that your phone will ring. :pray:
 
I'm sure you have looked but might be worth you or some one like pitbull pulling the panels on the spyder. It may have falling inside and got lodged? Very small chance but a chance all the same.

Fingers crossed you find it or someone is kind enough to return it to you.

Lost ring

Can you give us an idea of Route or stops? Were you on Route 66 during any of the time? I do have contacts in the Route 66 community and could get the word out.
 
I would check Craigslist in all areas as well as the local police. I found a money clip at a gas station with lots of cash in it and didn't feel comfortable handing it over to the people in the station so I contacted the police and was getting ready to put an ad in when the police called with the owners info.
 
Our God is a God of miracles. I'm believing with you that your ring will be returned.

Do you think it might be at the gas stop where you wrote about "Here's Your Sign" with the girl dressed up in a tank top, shorts, and flip flops?
 
Karyl, so sorry to hear that. You're not alone in believing miracles still happen - I have a soon-to-be 18 yr old daughter who wasn't supposed to make it much past 24 hrs. Our prayers are with you for faith and patience, and with whoever may find it, to know that it is special and needs to be returned. :pray::pray::pray:

Oh my gosh, Karyl, so sorry to hear about the loss of your ring. I can totally relate because when my oldest daughter got married, she wore her grandmother's ring (my mother) on her right hand. In between the wedding and the reception the wedding party visited a winery and a couple other places, and when she arrived at the reception the ring was gone. Lots of prayers went up right away, and the next day we retraced the path of the wedding party. At the winery we explained what had happened and discovered that someone had found it and turned it in to the owner. So know that prayers do get answered and we are joining all the others here in praying that your ring is found too. Keep the faith!
