• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

looking for a miracle

just stopping by to fill you in on Montana and her progress... the day after her first liver transplant they realized it was to big for her body and was causing her kidneys to stop working from the pressure it was putting on them... so they hooked her up to dialysis and opened her up again and did what they could to take the pressure on her kidney till they could find a second liver for her... so they put her back on the top of the list and in a few hours they had another one for her... so on monday they did a second transplant...
so as of yesterday the doctors have given us nothing but good news on her progress ... she is still not awake completely but does know when the family is in the room they are planning on letting her wake up slowly today and to remove the breathing tube that they had in just to make it easier on her body... she is still on dialysis for her kidney because they have not started to work yet. The doctors are not to worried about that yet they said that it might take a few days for them to adjust .
I will continue to up date all of you on her progress
I once again want to Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers for her and for the donors family's . She has a long recovery road ahead of her and your continued prayers for her recovery mean the world to us. Thank you does not even begin to tell you all how much your kindness means to us ...

More prayers from Grahamsville, N.Y. We're so glad to hear that her prognosis is looking good! :2thumbs: (My Missus had a kidney transplant almost 5 years ago, so we know all too about her horrific struggle...)

My paryers are with Montana

As a kidney transplant recipient my prayers :pray: are with Montana. She needs to hang in there as life will get back to normal soon. She is in good company!

The photo below is from the 2010 transplant games held in Madison, WI in August. These are transplant patients and live donors and only shows one half of the room. Montana is young, we had some as young as two, and will recover and hopefully I will see her at the next games in 2012! :firstplace:
