Check out Fieldsheer, they make great jackets and their liners are great too. I have a Fieldsheer mesh with a zip out liner that can be worn by itself as well. You end up with 3 jackets in one and certain models have removeable armor as well.

I have to put in my vote for Tour Master. Particularly the Flex2. Mesh with a zip on outer shell and a zip in liner. Goes from cold weather to hot and takes less room than carrying multiple jackets. My wife has "tested" a standard Tour Master shall we say. It was in great shape still when the ambulance crew cut it off. I have First Gear models also and like the Flex2 better. Just my opinion. Good luck with what ever you choose.
