There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I agree with above post. I purchased mine from Lamonster with the Ram mounting kit. Great price and quick delivery.

The XT is the newest Zumo and the 590/595 models are also out there. Either is an excellent choice compared to other brands. The difference is in the features each offers. I have found the 595 to be very reliable and easy to operate. The XT has the best screen but lacks some of the 'features' the 590/5 line have such as easy importing into Basecamp. Pricewise, the XT costs less than the 590/5.

Owned all three and the XT hands down is better. With the 590/95 I needed a sun screen to have any chance of seeing the screen even with the GPS set on its brightest setting. The XT can be viewed in direct sunlight. The only feature that the XT doesn't have is the tire air pressure monitoring. Of course to be able to use that with the 590/95 requires purchasing the 3 wheel tps units.
