Looking for a battery powered led trunk light,any ideas?

Using Velcro, attach an LED worklight that is on an elastic strap, designed to wear around the head, to the trunk lid as shown. That light can pivot down to shine into the trunk. I have it attached with velcro straps that can be removed to allow me to use the light anywhere, when needed.

Just picked up two from Home Depot last week. One for the trunk and one for the small top storage pocket. Check the light bulb section. Small, round bat. powered. Comes in black or white.

I got 2 keyring lights from the nik-nak section @ auto parts. Couple bucks each, have 3 leds in each. 1-Velcro to the trunk lip, 1- velcro in the console.

I can tell you this folks,,, the frunk light that comes with a 2011 RT LTD is really not worth talking about. Certainly not if you have to pay for it.
It sheds about the same amount of light as a bic lighter on a windy day! You're much better off with the ideas mentioned above. I particularly like
the one with the head band. What a novel idea!!! Love it.

I just bought a round led Puck light that has a swivel head and came with Velcro. It fits great in the lid of my rear trunk. Cost me less than $7 bucks. Even has a small light sensor so when it senses light, it turns on. You can also switch that feature off and just push button to turn on.

Offers a lot of Light and you cab swivel to see the trunk.
