Two unrelated thoughts, except they both occurred to me on the way to Spyderfest:
1. Lookie-loos. I'm on a 4-lane divided highway, generally keeping to the right lane except to pass. Cagers come up faster than me in the left lane and sometimes I'm closing on a slower vehicle in my lane. I keep calculating if/when I'll have to turn off the cruise control to keep from hitting the car ahead of me or will the passing car get by in time for me to pull out. The the "passing" car gets into my left-rear-quarter and slows down so they can look over my rig. They slowly pull on by me, sometime with big grins and waving at me. I guess it's like for any motorcycle rider - you have to think for yourself and for everyone else around you. Agravating! :gaah:
2. I was wearing my modular helmet with the full face shield and chin bar. One of my favorite songs popped into my mind, so I started singing. You should try it sometime. It's better acoustics than singing in the shower. It would be interesting to record it, to see if I really sound that good. :joke:
