OK, OK…I admit that I have observed from the cheap seats until today. For months and months as I deliberated, I read everything I could here (the good, the bad and the ugly). Your sharing here has helped me make the decision several weeks ago to sell my HD Sportster and go full Can Am Spyder. Now I am thoroughly enjoying my Metallic Silver 2013 RT-S SE5! Love the machine; love the dealer. Overall it has been a very positive experience.
So I take it in today for the first 600 mile service … and come home with 1100 miles on it? What? How could that happen…alien abduction? missing time? And to top that off, I came home this morning via the Tail of the Dragon. It was very early this morning when we struck in from the north. There were very few bikes on the Tail. I certainly didn’t burn up the pavement. But I did ride my ride. I left the Tail blazing for my BMW touring bro. After that it was several sweet hours home on the Spyder.
I’ve not had a minute’s problem with my Spyder other than a couple minor new vehicle issues which the dealer corrected without hesitation. Again, I can’t thank you all enough for the spirit that lives here. It will be my honor to share with you from my experiences as we go forward.
