There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.
Long Island Can Am clubs?

Long Island needs one.
It looks like there are a few people from the island but not in any clubs that I see.
I'm from West Hempstead. I just picked up a Rts. And I'm also looking to get together with some other owners/riders.

There really are no cons. It promotes a great sense of comarderie with in the spyrpder community. You have the benefit of joining a group of people that have a common interest, the Spyder, and of coming together with a group with different experiences. So someone in your group knows of a great ryde that you have never been on and they share the experience as a club ryde. We even get a discount from out local dealer on service, parts and accessories. You make friends you didn't have before as yiu are now joined by that common interest. The nice about SRA is they give you a basic structure and a model to build your chapter around, but they also provide the freedom to individualize your chapter, and I must say we have gained a great deal of respect from BRP, if you have followed my posts.
